Residential Mortgages
There are two types of mortgage on the market today; capital repayment and interest only. In the first case, repayments cover both interest and the loan itself; in the latter, interest is paid to the lender and the loan itself is repaid by alternative means, for example through an investment vehicle such as an endowment or savings plan.
However there are many different products. We will, of course, explain your options to you personally, but the following guide may help you see what options you might be able to consider.

Secured Loans
Sometimes known as a second charge these sit alongside your existing mortgage. They can be from thesame or a different lender and repayable over a longer or shorter period. Useful for home improvements, extra cash that you can repay in a shorter time,sometimes useful to raise money for a business idea.
Unsecured Loan
Sometimes known as a personal loan these generally attract a higher rate of interest and are repayable over a shorter period of time and only available on a repayment basis.
Commercial or Business Loans
I am able to refer you to a number of commercial property lenders and can place loans for care homes, b and b, hotels, buy to let, investment properties and most other small businesses.
Overseas Mortgages
Buying a holiday home can be a lot of fun but wouldn't it be better to be able to deal with someone who speaks your own language and can introduce you to English speaking solicitors and other professionals that will need.
